Point
of View of Japanese government on Nuclear Power Plant
This is a
point of view of Japanese government on Nuclear power after 3.11 in Fukushima
which I summarized from 2 reliable websites. It only based on facts and facts
only.
Japan
depends on imports for over 90% of its primary energy needs today.
The cost
for fire plant increased since 2013 to 3 trillion and 600 billion yen per year
due to the suspension of nuclear power plants, which forced the electricity
suppliers to raise electricity fees in November 2014. Nuclear power is very
important in that it possesses the possibility to solve the dependency on
imports of energy resources today.
After the
tragic accident in Fukushima on 11th March 2011 had most of the
nuclear power we possessed shut down, we revised our energy policy in 2014. Nuclear
Power is a base load energy that offers stability to electricity supplies and
deal with global warming.
Therefore,
we will restart nuclear power plants with thorough surveillance on screening the
procedure in operating nuclear power plant and will only use nuclear power that
passes the highest and safest global standard.
Nuclear
power is potentially expected to secure stabled energy supply and solve climate
change that’s going on around the world, considering its affordability and
effectivity.
